COLLEGE HOCKEY: HOCKEY AT ITS PUREST FORM
The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) is now a highly prized commodity amongst NHL (National Hockey League) scouts. There are three divisions at the college Hockey level - Division one for major colleges down to Division 3 for smaller colleges. Many colleges today have a woman's varsity team which has enjoyed immense growth and popularity in the last decade. The quality of the college player and the strong programs offered at the NCAA level have convinced many player drafted by the NHL today to play at the college hockey level and obtain their education before moving on to the NHL. The talent pool is fantastic with many college hockey players and graduates moving up to the NHL. Get out and support your local college hockey team
