AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE IS JUST A STEPPING STONE AWAY FROM THE BIG LEAGUES

The American Hockey League (AHL) consists of 27 teams from across the United States and Canada.  Players in the AHL are considered semi pros and most have been draft by National Hockey League (NHL) teams.  Whether players in the American Hockey League have been drafted or not all have the same goal each season and that is to win the Calder Cup.

The American Hockey League consists of two (2) conferences - an Eastern Conference and a Western Conference.  Each of these Conferences contains two (2) divisions.  Every American Hockey League team has an affiliation with a National Hockey League (NHL) team.  On the American Hockey League official website, www.theahl.com all scores, standings, statistics, roasters and transactions are posted.  This site contains links to each and every American Hockey League teams' official website.
